Finally somebody in the national netroots who gets Rudy Giuliani
Finally somebody in the national netroots who gets Rudy Giuliani
And that guy is Ezra Klein, You don't need to make anything up, invent any scandals, concoct any problems. You just have to honestly evaluate the words coming out of Giuliani's mouth, the rhetoric coming out of his campaign, and the advisers circling the candidate. It's all there. There's no blowjob, I know, but there's a real threat, and the media should, in its role as guardian of some minimal level of competency within the political process, be pointing out that this man is dangerous, his statements scary, his campaign unsettling, and his advisers insane. His is not a normal candidacy, and so long as the reporters continue treating it as the equivalent of Hillary Clinton's campaign rather than Pat Buchanan's, we're in trouble.

GIULIANI
It's Rosalie and since I'm at work I don't have my password to post.
The Village Voice has a great story on Giuliani and what he DIDN'T know concerning 9/11 and terrorism. Apparently his testamony and those of others wasn't to be let out until after the November 2008 elections but someone got a copy.
The story proves, Rudy is a liar and has built his candadicy on lies (as if we didn't know that)and the information in this story must be sent out for every voter to read.
Context
Even in the context of the other Republicans, who make him look like a beacon of enlightenment on many social issues, Rudy is the most dangerous of the credible candidates (I'll grant him superiority to Tom Tancredo)

Those, like me, for whom Rudy G's thoughts
and positions are intensely distasteful, may get a kick out of this snippet from the Washington Post which awarded him 4 elongated Pinocchio noses for truthiness (or lack thereof).
