Nassau election results open thread

Alrighty, this is it. We'll be posting results as they come online. Meanwhile...

...Log Cabin republicans, poor befuddled creatures that they are, cry foul over Maureen's vicious anti-gay literature; they had previously given her $8,000 and volunteered for her. Suckers. (NY Blade)

...A phone call I just placed to Lipris reveals hectic activity in Great Neck. I also hear Port Washington is surpassing expectations.

...Keeler and Pollak are out in the field.

[Update1]: When results come, they'll be posted here.

[Update2]: Just posted a diary on DKos about those illegal republican shenanigans.

[Update3]: It's 8 PM, the polls close in an hour.

[Update4]: Kickass; top of the Rec list on DKos. Polls close in fifteen minutes, and I'm now hearing that Great Neck looks "very good".

[Update5]: 9:04 PM EST, polls have been closed for four minutes. Results will begin trickling in in about fifteen minutes or so.

[Update6]: 9:15, no results yet. Response on DKos has been amazing; people are outraged at the tactics being employed out there. Lipris reports that Maureen's gaybashing flyer - here - got us two extra votes at least.

[Update7]: Just got off the phone with Brian Keeler - "NyBri" - who says the mood at HQ is 'cautiously optimistic'; Brian says he's never seen an operation like this before in a state race, and he should know, having run in one. Five million clams in as many weeks: everyone's in uncharted waters right now.

[Update8]: Yay, first results!

Craig 481, Maureen 269 (9:29 PM)

[Update9]: More, 9:30 PM:

Craig 1,499, Maureen 1,035. (40 EDs of 264)

[Update10]: 9:40 PM, 64 ADs counted (of 264), Craig 3,908, Maureen 3,302. Craig's lead is expanding in absolute terms.

[Update11]: 9:48 PM, 85 EDs counted, Craig 6,272, Maureen 4,557.

[Update12]: OK, we need to start hearing some talk about a concession here soon. As of 9:55, with 92 EDs, it's Craig with 7,385, Maureen 5,119. His lead has gone up with every addition. Hint, hint.

[Update13]: 111 EDs (of 264), Craig 9,693, Maureen 6,772, 10:00 PM.

[Update14]: The Albany Project joins the party. Meanwhile, at 10:08 PM, it's 174 EDs counted, Craig 15,090, Maureen 13,338.

[Update15]: Crap. Craig 19,958, Maureen 20,797, 230 EDs reporting.

[Update16]: Nevermind. Craig 24,434, Maureen 22,276, 251 of 264 EDs reporting.

[Update17]: LI Dem in the comments says the race has been called for Johnson; just confirmed it, we won.

The face of the Republican Party in Iowa is the face of a losing party, full of hatred toward immigrants, lust for government subsidies, and the demand that any Republican seeking the office of the presidency acknowledge that he's little more than Jesus Christ's running mate.
