People there are still being killed and injured as unexploded cluster bombs (made by the US and delivered to towns and villages in Lebanon by the Israeli Defense Force) detonate. Recently, the Senate voted down a measure that would have limited the use of US made cluster bombs in civillian areas. New York Senators Clinton and Schumer voted with the Republicans as did Connecticut Senators Lieberman and Dodd.
