Democracy for NYC 2010 Endorsements

Democracy for NYC, the local affiliate of Howard Dean's Democracy for America, has announced their 2010 endorsements:

After a forum on Sunday, May 23rd and voting period extending from the forum through our Linkups last week, Democracy for NYC is proud to announce that we have endorsed the following candidates in the 2010 Democratic primaries in NYC:

Attorney General: Eric Schneiderman (also endorsed by Lambda Independent Democrats)
Congress, District 10: Kevin Powell (also endorsed by Central Brooklyn Independent Democrats)
Congress, District 14: Carolyn Maloney
Congress, District 15: Jonathan Tasini
State Senate, District 10: Lynn Nunez
State Senate, District 27: Igor Oberman (also endorsed by Lambda Independent Democrats and by me...but rumor has it he has dropped out)
State Senate, District 30: Bill Perkins
State Senate, District 32: Charlie Ramos Jr. (I have also endorsed Charlie Ramos)
State Senate, District 33: Desiree Hunter (I have also endorsed Desiree Hunter)
State Assembly, District 26: Steve Behar
State Assembly, District 36: Jeremiah Frei-Pearson (previously endorsed by DFNYC)

Note: DFNYC has a 55% threshold to endorse. In a few races, no candidate received 55%, so there was no endorsement.

If you would like to volunteer for any of these candidates, please contact DFNYC: info@dfnyc.org.
