In the race to replace obstructionist Republican Marty Golden in the State Senate, the young but enthusiastic Mike DiSanto has picked up three valuable endorsements: Brooklyn Democrats for Change, Lambda Independent Democrats and the Jim Owles Liberal Democratic Club. [UPDATE: Daily Gotham has since been alerted that DiSanto has also gotten the endorsement of the American Heitage Democratc Organization...if so I suggest DiSanto's team add it to his website. In fact it is time his website start adding ALL of these endorsements.]

From Brooklyn Democrats for Change:

Brooklyn deserves someone with new ideas, innovative thinking, honor and a background in achieving solid results. I am that person,” DiSanto told the club. “Legislators have created a system that has denied Southern Brooklyn the funding it needs and deserves. Government is a service to the people -- to make peoples’ lives better. Tonight I am asking you to help send me to Albany. And when I get there, I will fight for you. I will fight to end corruption and waste, I will to ensure our district gets the funding it deserves and that our families are protected and have the services their tax dollars are paying for.”
