I am actively supporting Bill Richardson for a couple of major reasons.

I want a President who has on-the-ground experience in foreign affairs and who has a track record of negotiating with leaders who actively oppose US interests. I also want a President who can communicate efficiently and effectively with our international allies. In the past 7 years we have done a really terrible job in both areas. There are many reasons for this; but I believe the most important reason is that we elected a President with absolutely NO experience in foreign affairs. Let's not make that mistake again.

We need a President who has has the vision and real world experience to lead us AWAY from dependence on fossil fuels. Bill Richardson certainly has the vision. What about his experience. He served as Secretary of Energy and thus has a keen understanding of how the federal government bureaucracy works. He has administrative experience at the federal level. Nice!! Now what has he actually done? As Governor of New Mexico he has been able to translate his experience in government to actual results at the state and local levels. New Mexico is a clean energy state with an economy that is growing as a result.

I am registered in the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party has a strong record of working to improve the lives of everday Americans. I believe in liberty, democracy and fraternity. I believe that Bill Richardson is our best choice for President and I encourage YOU to look at him.
