What's With Dominic Recchia?
What's with Dominic Recchia? Tonight he was supposed to attend a Candidate's Forum at Brooklyn Democrats For Change. This Forum was originally scheduled for March but Mr. Recchia cancelled at the last minute because his daughter was ill.
Tonight, again he was a no show. I don't even know if he gave a reason for not attending but this isn't going to look good on his resume.
Steve Harrison did speak and was warmly received by all members. After he spoke the members were able to ask Steve questions and many of them took full advantage of the opportunity.
Do You Really..
Did you really think that Mr. Recchia would show up, especially when he voted FOR Congestion pricing, just to get booed off the stage. Come on get real. He's probably waiting to see what the vote is up in Albany. He likes to put his finger up in the wind & see which way it's blowing.
Then Recchia
Should have thought about what the reaction from the voters would be BEFORE he voted. Actually, I don't think he would have heard thunderous applause but I'm sure he would have gotten a cordial reception. The Albany vote isn't going to matter because his vote has already been counted and will be remembered.
Hey, maybe he thinks he doesn't need any club endorsements, who knows.
