A fascinating look at Robert McNamara -- Secretary of Defense during the Vietnam War and self-described "war criminal" -- and at the valuable lessons we can (and should) apply to the Iraq War. 85 years old by the film's creation, McNamara is unexpectedly contemplative, though still self-serving, arrogant, and unresolved. Those watching closely will likely see an unsettling resemblance to current Defense Secretary Don Rumsfeld.
The New York Times's Stephen Holden: "If there's one movie that ought to be studied by military and civilian leaders around the world at this treacherous historical moment, it is The Fog of War."
The L.A. Times's Kenneth Turan "One of the best documentaries of this or any year."

This is a kick-ass documentary
I highly recommend it for how well it portrays the pettiness of world-altering political decisions. I particularly liked his story about his frienship with Nikita Krushev. That story alone was worth the whole damn price of admission.
