Please join Democracy for NYC for the debut of our new periodic series "An Evening With", which will feature prominent or noteworthy political authors, writers or commentators in a fun and social setting. Our preview evening, November 14, will feature Katrina vanden Heuvel, Editor-in-Chief of "The Nation" magazine and a charismatic Progressive voice on the political landscape.
The evening will feature an analytical address by Ms. vanden Heuvel concerning the results of the November midterm elections, followed by a question and answer session. The event will be held at "Taj", 48 West 21st Street (between Fifth and Sixth Avenues) in Manhattan - a very popular and sleek midtown club - from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
The cost for the evening will be $7.00 for those who have RSVP'd ahead of time and $10.00 for those showing up at the door the night of the event.
