Explores the common groove between the West African griots and the Hungarian dance fanatics. The all-star cast of musicians that could only be found in NYC includes Famoro Dioubate (balafon), Avram Fefer (sax/clarinet), Jacob Schulman-Ment (Hungarian fiddle), Sylvian Leroux (African flute), Tzafrir Lichtenstein (drums) and Raul Rothblatt (bandleader, cello). With special guest Tim Abdulla Fuson on Moroccan gimbre and Missia Diabate, the "Tina Turner" of West Africa.
