Dear Candidates for the 40th Council District:

On Tuesday, February 13th there will be a candidate’s forum at The Church of the Evangel, 1950 Bedford Avenue in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn.

The forum is being sponsored by Prospect Lefferts United for Services (PLUS) together with Lefferts Manor Association, Prospect Lefferts Gardens Neighborhood Association, PLG Arts and the Ocean by the Park Block Association.

Prospect Lefferts Gardens is located entirely within the 40th Council District and is bounded by Empire Boulevard, New York Avenue, Parkside Avenue and Ocean Avenue. Each community group sponsoring this forum is active in the neighborhood and have large active memberships who will be attending.

This forum will be open to all candidates for the 40th Council District seat and we hope each candidate will be in attendance. We have not decided when the forum will start, but we will announce that information as soon as it is available.
