Mass Rally to Stop the Closing of Bronx Post Offices
The Bronx Coalition to Save Our Post Offices, a recently formed
organization of community groups, unions, and elected officials, has called for a Mass Rally To Save Our Post Offices to be held Monday, March 20th at 2 P.M. in front of the Bronx General Post Office, East 149th Street and the Grand Concourse.
The Bronx Coalition to Save Our Post Offices is demanding that Bronx
mail must continue to be processed in The Bronx. The Postal Service's plan
to process Bronx mail in Manhattan will result in three major facilities being shut down, causing delays in residential and business delivery. The
