Special Election to fill vacant State Legislature Seats

On Tuesday, February 28, 2006, New York State will hold a special election to fill vacant seats in the state legislature.

In New York City, these vacant seats include:

- the 59th Assembly District in Southeast Brooklyn, Bergen Beach area (previously held by Frank Seddio)
- the 67th Assembly District in Manhattan, Upper West Side (previously held by Scott Stringer).
- the 74th Assembly District on the east side of Manhattan, below midtown, above the Lower East Side (previously held by Steve Sanders)
