Franchise agreements are crucial to maintaining public access programming such as Democracy Now with Amy Goodman. But the FCC is considering regulations to eliminate francise agreements. The Manhattan Neighborhod Network ("MNN") has set up a web page where you can quickly and easily file your comments with the FCC: http://mnn.org/saveaccess/nprmhowto.html. The deadline for comments is Feb. 13!
