The October Any Soldier street drive, held by Dave Robinson in partnership with the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture www.bsec.org/ and Old First Reformed Church, www.oldfirstbrooklyn.org/, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in front of Old First, on the corner of 7th Avenue and Carroll Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Please come by to write a letter or postcard and donate something our soldiers can really use--food, personal hygiene and other everyday consumer items. If you'd like to volunteer to help either with your car helping Dave to set up in the morning or--more importantly--getting him home with all the stuff, or talking to your neighbors about Any Soldier and handing out flyers during the day, please email Dave at daverobinsonworks-at-yahoo.com (replace -at- with @) or call him at 917-446-6686.
