Want to help put an end to voter disenfranchisement, make sure every New Yorker who wants to vote gets to vote, and take a stand that all votes must be counted? Then sign up to volunteer with the New York Democratic Lawyers Council, the Democratic State Party's voting rights attorneys, on November 8!
The NYDLC is recruiting volunteers to monitor polls on Election Day to make sure that no voters are turned away, that minority voters and new citizens are treated fairly, and that all votes are counted. In NYC, we will be volunteering to help the Ferrer campaign. We will also be deploying volunteers on behalf of democratic candidates in Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk, and Ulster counties.
