Any Soldier Drive in Park Slope

19 Nov 2005 - 12:00pm

Start:

A message from DFNYC member David Robinson:

Hello all -
Our next Any Soldier street drive, held in partnership with the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture and Old First Reformed Church, is scheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 19 in front of Old First on 7th Avenue at Carroll Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Please come by if you can to write a letter or postcard to our neighbors in uniform and to donate nonperishable, canned or microwaveable food, personal care products, winter gloves/hats/blankets or any of the other items listed on the attached flyer.

As always, if you can donate some time to help during the day, especially if you can give me a ride home especially after the drive, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm 10 minutes away from the church, but car services are often unwilling to take me with all the donated items. so If you have a car and can help me out at or about 5:30pm on Saturday, you would be a lifesaver.
