Well, when Bush's family pastor (the guy who advises Bush and who officiated at Bush's daughter's wedding) goes public attacking McCain on the character issue AND endorsing Obama, it really does show a lack of support among the core Republicans. Doesn't mean they won't forgive much hypocricy, but when the republican convention offers up McCain (infidelity and Savings and Loan scandals), Palin (Teengate and abuse of power plus the VECO scandal in the background) and Giuliani (infidelity after infidelity), then the key republican event of the year is really not appealing to the key republican base. I mean how much hypocricy can anyone accept before they just stay home?
