Leaving your election workers out in the cold
Observation from tonight's primary election:
Judicial candidate Sharen Hudson may have left her campaign workers out in the cold tonight. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding, but as I was leaving the polling area after hadning out IND palm cards, there was a knot of abandoned-looking campaign workers. Seems they had gotten up to open the polls at 6 AM, campaigned for Sharen Hudson right through the day, then were left, abandoned by the campaign without pay.
That was the scene as I left. Some very unhappy campaign workers wondering where their paychecks were. Hoping it was all a misunderstanding and all will work out in the end. But in case it is needed, let me remind Sharen Hudson to pay her campaign workers and maybe apologize for any misunderstanding.

I also feel sorry for those workers and hope it turns out to be a misunderstanding.
I'm happy to hear that Johnson won. Down with the machine. Sorry that Dear beat Yellen but he'll probably mess up within the year and either be forced to resign or be the one facing the Judge.

this sucks
i feel bad for those workers. They may never see that pay since, according to NY1, Sharen Hudson has officially lost to Kathy Levine. BTW incase any of you don't know the other results, Diana Johnson beat Shawndya Simpson and Noach Dear beat Karen Yellen
