Daily Gotham Moving up in Influence?

I was posting on Daily Kos regarding what media is progressive friendly and wanted to add the show I plugged not too long ago, Chris Owens' "Inside the Congressional Black Caucus." I was looking for as official a notice of its inception as I could and found a blurb on the New York Press website. I was all ready to use their blurb as my link for info on the show...until I noticed what they cite as their source of info...my diary here on Daily Gotham! I am still not used to being used as a source or citation (outside of my scientific work). Have to admit it feels good. Thanks New York Press! I'll return the favor sometime : -)

Oh yeah baby

You know this makes mama real happy. First, it proves we are doing our job right. I have told people again and again --it's what you do and who you reach that has more weight in political blogging than the amount of people that visit your site.

Yes, I am moving this site to another server so traffic can go as high as it needs to withouth an a**hole at NIGHTMAREhost pulling the plug on us. But I am more interested in the quality and reach of my readers than the quantity and at this point, we have gotten it all right.

So mole33, keep on trucking. Your da man.

Congrats!

Good work, though I have to say I've seen you quoted before on The Politicker, Gothamist and so on. I've been quoted by name in the latter, though not the former, alas.

BTW, Miz Diva, you consistently have two or three times the traffic than does that, well, other blog.

Smiling, M
