Congresswoman Nita Lowey Collapses and Clinton Rally

No real details but Congresswoman Nita Lowey, NY-18, collapsed after speaking at a Clinton rally on Saturday. From the sound of it she recovered quickly and was taken to the hospital for observation.

Congresswoman Lowey had given her speech and fainted when she sat down. Given the rigors of campaigning, it could merely be stress, low blood sugar, etc. The rapidity with which she recovered seems encouraging. I don't find any report that seems to have more info than 8 PM Sat. night.

I believe I can speak for all of Daily Gotham in wishing her well.

Wishing Congresswoman Lowey Well

And that whatever caused her fainting spell was something very minor.

Not very minor, but...

Congresswoman Lowey's incident was described by her spokesman as a "minor coronary incident."

Thanks for the update

That isn't minor, but it could actually be good. Having a minor coronary event can alert you to the need for treatment that can prevent something major. Hope her recovery is complete.
