Rupert Murdoch owns Fox News, that "fair and balanced as long as it's talking about extreme right-wing politics" network.
Rupert Murdoch owns the The New York Post, a publication that has been scathing about Barack Obama. Interesting enough, NYP runs right-wing "blogger" Michelle Malkin's nationally syndicated column. She happens to be a fixture of FoxNews as well. It also gives plenty of ink to writers from National Review Online and Town Hall. The New York Post, by the way, lost it's seat in Obama's press corps just yesterday along with Washington Times and the Dallas Morning News.
Rupert Murdoch owns The Wall Street Journal, which has had Karl Rove writing almost daily about the elections as a contributor. Here's a sample :

Rupert Murdoch's track record as a Republican-loving mogul is astounding. He has supported the campaigns of people like Rick Santorum, Vito Fossella, Ted Stevens and George Allen. It hasn't escaped me he was an avid cheerleader of Hillary Clinton and a top contributor to Chuck Schumer.
John Ellis called the 2000 election for George Bush on FoxNews. George Ellis is a cousin of George Bush. Rupert Murdoch is one of George Bush's and the GOPs biggest campaign contributors and is consistenly pinned as the man who stole the elections for George Bush.
Under the Bush Administration, deregulation of media ownership was fast-tracked in order to allow Rupert Murdoch to own more TV, radio and newspapers in the same media market; as well as allow fast expansion and consolidation of media companies and kill competition and diversity.

now is the time for Obama to proove he is true presidential materials and follow up and see to it his illegal aunt is deported per court order . and show no favortism , he should also initiate investigations to the her living in the low house income complex if she truely is , and secondly who does she work for if she is so poor, and are they aware and responsible for hiring an illeagal and should be prosicuted as well. per his own words if she is breaking the law she should be accountable , and his professed lack of her whereabouts intrigues me, considering she was at his inaguration for presidency, Obama stikes me and very intelliegnt person and i dont believe he did not know. nor giving away her so called
donations to his compaigne makes it ok either , how many more like contributions are there ?? im just someone trying to learn more because things dont seem right, if i am going to support him i want to feel good about him

That’s right, the governor of Illinois was arrested. Arrested on allegations that Blagojevich and Harris schemed with previously convicted Obama associates Antoin Rezko, Stuart Levine, Ali Ata and others to arrange financial benefits in exchange for appointments to state boards and commissions, state employment, state contracts and access to state funds. The biggest one being the vacant senate seat left by Barack Obama.
Looks like politics as usual in Illinois. First the republicans in the state screw up, and now the democrats. I sense a pattern. Get elected in Illinois, become corrupt, orr is it become corrupt and get elected. Interesting to say the least. Blagojevich’s resignation has been called for, and impeachment is already being discussed, so he may have seen his last payday as governor.Maybe he has likely seen his last payday in office. Just a question
Why do you consider a factual news story a "smear?" Factual news stories, whether positive or negative, for a Republican or Democrat, deserve air time. According to a number of sources other than Fox News, Barack Obama has an aunt who has lived in the US as an illegal alien for four years. Aren't all factual news stories worthy of our consideration as independent thinkers in this elections? Why attack the messenger just b/c you don't like the message? Frankly, the lateness of this story along with several others coming to light in the last month regarding Barack Obama makes me wonder where the supposed "mainstream" and "objective" media has been the last 18 months in showing us the qualifications of ALL the candidates.
