John Hall Now 4 for 4; Poughkeepsie Journal Picks Hall

In a stunning sweep of newspaper endorsements in the 19th CD, John Hall has now been endorsed by the Poughkeepsie Journal, which had, in previous years, favored his opponent GOP Bush-clone Sue Kelly.

In its endorsement editorial, titled “Hall Has Fresh Ideas,” the Poughkeepsie Journal notes that Hall “is particularly strong on environmental issues” and “believes Congress needs to put pressure on the president to start bringing U.S. troops home.” The newspaper applauds Hall’s “pragmatic approach” toward solving the nation’s health care problems,
and concludes that he “has the intelligence and depth to make quite a difference in Congress...”

Hall has also been endorsed by the NY Times, the Journal-News, and the Times-Herald Record. Hillary Clinton is due to campaign with Hall today. When will you?

Sue Kelly is a HYPOCRITE!

The Kelly view on Vets

is consistent with the Bush Administration as a whole: use them and lose them. Kelly did remarkably poorly in the recent recap of her voting record on veterans' issues.

As I see it, these last few days are for the door-to-door and telephone canvasses and then for the election day operation. Very few people in the 19th CD seem untuned to the Hall-Kelly campaign. I'm going. How about you?

Sue Kelly

Kelly wins going away. This won't even be close.
An endorsement from the New York Times is really a strike against you.
