One of the great challenges, it seems to me, of post-publication authorship is Book Tour; newly-launched authors traveling from early morning TV show to late-night talk-radio. One frozen-in-stone format has the author making general remarks & reading followed by friendly-critical reactions from well known colleagues, followed by questions and speeches from ill-informed, opinionated people like me.
