to the degree that Bush's Iraq war will drain 2/3 trillion from the US economy (If we're to credit Stigitiz's calculations) which means less money for health care, affordable housing, education and the like. It's not only that this Republican war makes us less secure, kills our soldiers and innocent Iraqis, Bush & his cronies pick our pockets in the process.
