The City's disturbing new PSA
Ick! Ick! That was my reaction, at least, to this new City PSA running on network television these days.
Not that they're not right or anything like that, but please, can we be just a touch less graphic?

To be honest...
they can't be graphic enough. This is coming from a smoker who has tried to kick the "habit" nine times by now, who is fooling herself by smoking 'organic', and has set a new quitting date which hopefully will be the last once and for all.
And if one less teenager picks up this dreadful addiction because of this add I will be very grateful.
And yes we could go on about how the environment makes us sick, how the car fumes make us sick, and so on. Fact is, smoking is a dangerous and expensive addiction (I don't even want to know how many Manolo Blahnik I could have bought, or even worse that this money that has gone up in smoke the past 20 years probably would have been a nice down payment for a house).
So I hope they keep them coming.
