Johnson, O'Connell hit the airwaves in SSD-7
[Update]: Excellent work, Democrat Craig Johnson has his first commercial in the $4 million slugfest that is the special election in the Seventh SSD.
Republican contender Maureen O'Connell, currently running to perpetuate Joe Bruno's ability to soak up public funds for private purposes (and choke off our state's future in the process), is also on the air with a television ad; pretty anodyne stuff, except that she doesn't take the pro-corruption stance that would be warranted by the circumstances she finds herself in.
Why not, Mrs. O'Connell? Why don't you tell people that you support Joe Bruno? The commercial itself is hereby banished to after the break.

I met him tonight and heard him speak at the Great Neck Democratic Club. He truly believes what he believes, and isn't afraid to take on the powers-that-be, if necessary.
I'll be phonebanking and canvassing for him, and I recommend that we all join in the fun, not just to hurt Joe Bruno, but to put someone worthy in the state senate.
