Obama nominated by acclamation

Senator Clinton just called for and end to the roll call vote and moved that the convention nominate Barack Obama by acclamation.

The motion passed, and it was done: the Democratic Party has nominated a black man for the Presidency.

I Started To Cry

I couldn't believe it. When Hillary was speaking and when the vote went to acclamation tears were running down my face. Watching MSNBC (much better than CNN) they I saw plenty of tears running down the faces of the delagates and then they started to interview them.

I am proud of my Party and stand with them in their acclamation to elect Barack Obama the 42nd President of our great Country.
