"Hot chicks dig Obama"
No, that's not a spoof. It's the last audio snippet in John McCain's newest, presumably web-only, television spot.
There's a lot to be embarrassed about if you're a republican, but John McCain seems intent on making that pie higher.

Standard Rovian tactics
The idea Karl Rove brought to campaigns is to attack your opponent's strength. It's counterintuitive -- standard practice is to poke at your opponent's weakness.
Obama's strength is that he is inspirational, appealing to the best in us. Naturally, the "Rove, Jr." consulting firm (whatever names they're working under) has decided to attack that.
The reason Rove did so well was that his tactic was new. Now, the tactic is old. It's like trying to win football games by using the wishbone offense.
It's also of note
that all the "hot chicks" are white, and that Obama is black.
