CNN's Glenn Beck wants to kill you

From My Two Sense via AmericaBlog comes this genocidal rant from extremist rightwing CNN host Glenn Beck; he was discussing hurricane safety with someone:

LANDSEA: New York is extremely vulnerable, too, if a hurricane strikes just west of them and funnels all that water just north along Long Island into the city itself. They could have 20 to 25 feet of storm surge.

BECK: Actually, that would clean the streets out. It might not be bad.

Yup, that's the ticket: a wall of water to flush away all those gays and blacks and Jews and Times-reading leftists. No doubt his fellow terrorists, Ann Coulter and Osama bin Laden, would agree with that sterling idea. It's even less messy than flying planes into our buildings; who says the right never improves anything?

It bears repeating: there's no practical difference between the extremist wingnuts and Al Qaeda. Call it what it is: theocratic terrorism. So, will New York republicans utter a peep of condemnation? After all, they're the nice ones; not like their crazy cousins in the country, or so they want you to think.

Don't hold your breath waiting.

Beck

The real issue is that we are a tolerant city and allow people like Beck, Hannity, Rush and Oreilly to live here and spew their venom. They can say these things because we have for too long tolerated them in our gracious liberal city. We should all make it very difficult for these people to reside here. They should be refused services at restaurants, gyms, etc. We should make them unwelcome here. Even Ann Counlter lives in NYC.

Wow, some people really need

Wow, some people really need to relax. I don't know how you get from "the streets could be cleaner" to "genocide." It takes a load of senseless irrationality and character assault, for one. Like I said: Relax.

Um....

...you don't 'clean streets' with a 25-foot storm surge. Careful there, your denial is showing.

I didn't have a defining moment. I was baptized a Democrat. I was born a Catholic in New York City.
