Bigamist versus GOP
Heh. The headline is not the newest Rove-approved slogan for a race in the Old Confederacy; rather, it describes the current effort by republican designee John Spencer to shame his would-be colleagues at the NRSC into supporting him. Spencer, of course, is most well known for shtupping someone from the typing pool (while still married), promoting that person to be his Chief of Staff (while still married), fathering two children with her (while still married), and then finally marrying that patient woman (while still married). And yes, he promises to 'protect the sanctity of marriage' from gays.
In support of this attempt at shaming – good luck with that, dude, guess you were asleep for a few years – Spencer has cut a radio ad, which you can listen to here.
Go for it; it's the funniest thing I've heard in a while, and not just because he compares running against Hillary to being ambushed by the Viet Cong.
